I am a birth and family documentary photographer, a partner, and most importantly a mom. I live in Concord, NH with my two boys Cooper and Leo and my daughter Moxie. I can be seen tending to my many plants, eating my favorite Mexican food at El Rodeo, going on adventures with my kiddos and editing the night away!
I became a doula 10 years ago and picked up a camera soon after realizing I was witnessing miracles that nobody was capturing. Since then I've taught myself how to use a DSLR and taken a film course with THE Monet Nicole (A beautiful human, birth photographer and filmmaker - Co-owner of Birth Becomes You.) I believe in birth. Every kind. I believe in powerful people making their own decisions and being in charge of their own happiness. I believe in the power of knowing about your body and how it works before, during, and after childbirth. I believe in real raw moments being captured even when they don't feel picture perfect. I believe in the now. You never get moments back and my goal is to create a series of images that will take you back to that day. How you felt. How you connected. How hard you laughed or cried. I witness miracles. The strength I see in people takes my breath away. Families have allowed me into their lives on their most important and memorable days. I do not take that lightly. My job is to instill stability in the unknown, love over fear, education over ignorance, silence in the chaos, hope in the discomfort, and often a bit of comedic relief. I'm also here to do the work. The deep work of finding ourselves and reclaiming our postpartum bodies. Witnessing and capturing people on whatever body journey they are on. Part of the work I do is yearly body love sessions at a "pay what you can" price tag to work with people where they are at. I also offer payment plans of all kinds for all sessions. |
